Description:

The Quest - Curse of Linmore represents a noteworthy expansion to the original role-playing game, The Quest. Notably characterized by its exquisite hand-drawn graphics, this open-world game employs traditional grid-based movement and turn-based combat mechanics.

Upon activating the expansion, players will gain access to a variety of new areas and quests, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Interestingly, the expansion can also be played independently for those who do not possess The Quest.

In this narrative, players are summoned by the Tiarnaigh of Linmore to address a rampant curse afflicting the region. The land suffers from the enigmatic Failing Sickness, attributed to an unusually wet and cold summer. The previously tranquil Loch Linmore now swells unnaturally, causing distress among the local populace. Compounding these troubles, monks at Bidewell Abbey are reportedly experiencing collective possession and have been confined in a state of frenzy. A mysterious mist shrouds the path to Bidewell, while villagers voice concerns over the alarming disappearance of children. Accusations arise against the Abbess of Bidewell Abbey, with some suggesting she is a witch, while others point towards demonic influences, particularly that of Olc Mhor. Players step into this unfolding drama equipped with esteemed recommendations, tasked with lifting the curse to restore peace to the troubled land.

To explore the new areas (this step is not necessary for those playing the expansion as a standalone title), players should travel to Mithria Harbor and engage with Captain Hanty, selecting "Curse of Linmore" as their destination. It is advisable for players to reach at least level 80 to adequately prepare for the challenges introduced in this expansion.
